CHAN 2016: Dalung, Pinnick lead Nigeria delegation to cheer Super Eagles

Sports minister, Solomon Dalung and President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick, are at the head of the country’s delegation billed to storm Kigali, in Rwanda to cheer the home-based Super Eagles as Nigeria opens its CHAN 2016 campaign against neighbours, Niger Republic, Monday.
The Eagles arrived Kigali on Friday from South Africa where they had their pre tournament camping for two weeks.
Meanwhile, host Rwanda made a good start to the tournament yesterday with a 1-0 victory over Cote D’Ivoire in the very first match of the soccer showpiece.
The only goal of the tournament opener came in the 15th minute courtesy of Emery Bayisenge’s effort.
In the second match of the day, Gabon and Morocco labored to a goalless draw.
