Chief Sir Innocent Chijioke Kafor passes on to glory at 94; Burial holds, December 27, 2024
The family of late Chief Sir Innocent Chijioke Kafor of Umuigwe Umuezigwe Amainyinta in the Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria has announced the passage unto glory of their father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, father-in-law and grandfather, Chief, Sir, Innocent Chijioke Kafor (KSM) at the age of 94.
A notice by Mr. Damian Kafor, for the family, which announced the Celebration of Life of the highly respected community leader and Christian faithful, also announced that the Burial Programme will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024 with a Memorial Mass at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Aladinma, Owerri at 5:00PM.
On Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00AM, a Burial Mass in his honour will be held at the St. Michael’s Catholic Parish, Amainyinta, Ihitte/Uboma LGA and at 12:00 Noon, the departed Patriarch will be interred at his country home in Amainyinta, Ihitte/Uboma LGA.
A reception will follow afterwards, in celebration of the eventful life of positive impact that the late Chief Sir Innocent Chijioke Kafor lived, at the same venue.
The departed great man is being mourned across the world, by the many individuals and groups that his life of service impacted in diverse ways, and his wife, children, grandchildren and relatives have continued to receive condolence messages from far and near, from those their departed Patriarch positively touched.
