Former Senators Ademola Adeleke and Dino Melaye and celebrated columnist and Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu celebrated Father’s Day 2021 in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America (US).
Adeleke, popularly known as the dancing senator, represented Osun-west senatorial district until June 2019 and then went to run the Governorship race in his home state and lost (though many still insist that he was rigged out).
The Ede-born politician is said to be getting ready to run the race a second time and it is widely believed that this time, he will not allow anything to chance. Uncle to the multiple award-winning musician, Davido, Senator Adeleke is said to be popular, especially among the youths.
Equally popular (some say loquacious, showy or eccentric), singing senator Melaye represented Kogi West Senatorial district in the upper chamber of the Nigerian National Assembly before also going to run the governorship race in his home state, Kogi.
He also lost in controversial circumstances to incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello and it is not yet clear whether he will run the race again.
Chief Momodu, a University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo) alumnus and internationally celebrated journalist and activist, on his part, once ran for presidency in Nigeria.
The three celebrities and others, including Deaconess Linda Middleton, a business Chief in her own rights and founder of Kaleidoscope Business Project LLC were together wining and dining in celebration of Father’s Day 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia.
