Saturday, June 1, 2024 will remain a day of great joy for Dr. Princess Joy Adenubi Olagbegi-Apampa and her husband, Chief Prince Abila Abimbola Apampa. It was also a day to remember for good, for members of their families, their friends and well wishers.
On this beautiful day, in the State of Illinois, in the United States of America (USA), the couple were honored by the conferment on them of Honorary Doctorate Degrees in Humane Letters of the Triumphant Christian University of America (TCUA), Rolling Meadows, in recognition of their distinguished contributions and services to humanity.
The well attended event, the 2024 Convocation and Award Ceremony, which had as theme, “The Future of Christian Witness in a World of Machine Learning and Algorithms,” was presided over by the Principal Officers of the University, including the President, Dr. Ige Joseph and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. David Dungji Joel.
The distinguished guest speakers for the program were Ms. Ndileka Mandela from South Africa and Pastor Sam Beasnael from the Republic of Chad.
It was, indeed, a memorable day for the Olateru-Olagbegi dynasty of Owo in Ondo State and the Apampas of Ibadan, in Oyo State as there was a lot to rejoice about as they entered the brand new month of June.
Among the many relatives, friends and well wishers who were on hand share the joy of the moment with Princess Adenubi Olateru-Olagbegi and her husband, Chief Prince Abimbola Apampa were Hon Justice (Dr) Adesuyi Olateru-Olagbegi, Prof Joseph Ige, Dr Shijy Alex, Dr Susan Matthew, Dr Modupe Okubanjo, Dr. Mustapha Gbadamosi and Dr. Princess Modupe Olagbegi-Gbadamosi.
