Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Dr. Charles E. Okafor on his recent promotion to Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Friends, relatives and colleagues have been conveying their congratulations to the gentle and hardworking officer on his well deserved elevation.
Dr. Okafor, who has a Ph.D in International Relations from the University of Nigeria Nsukka is presently serving as the Comptroller, Passport Data Processing Centre, at the Service Headquarters, Abuja, Nigeria.
Dr. Okafor was once the Immigration Attaché in the Consulate General of Nigeria in Johannesburg, South Africa.
From Umuokoro Umuariam Obowo in Imo State, Dr. Okafor thanked God for his elevation and said that promotion is acknowledgement of hard work by the authorities and comes with expectation of more hard work, pledging to continue to give his best to the Service and to Nigeria.
