Dr. Remi Duyile, an Executive Committee member of the National Association of Nigerians in the USA Inc, ( NANUSA) has been appointed a Multicultural Commissioner representing the African Community in Prince George’s County of the State of Maryland, USA.
According to a letter by Aisha N. Braveboy, Esq., State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, the appointment is “for a term of two (2) years, with a maximum of three (3) full terms” and “the terms run concurrent with the term of the State’s Attorney.”
Dr. Duyile’s confirmation and swearing in holds on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 7p.m at the County Administration Building, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
The mission of the State’s Attorney Multicultural Commission “is to support and advance State’s Attorney’s commitment to fostering a long term partnership with community organizations that result in sustainable cultural programming, an environment where diverse communities are recognized, increase understanding and promote multiculturalism in Prince George’s County.”
Dr. Duyile, an accomplished international executive leader and project manager with over 35 years of combined experience, is the Financial Secretary of NANUSA, a Non Profit Organization for the Nigerian Community in the USA. NANUSA is also a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the establishment of the proposed Nigerian Federal Credit Union, USA.
A serial entrepreneur, certified John Maxwell coach, a Les Brown Platinum Speaker and a trainer, Dr. Duyile is President of Image Consulting Group, Board Chair of African Union Pan African Diaspora Women Association USA, Member of the National Coalition of the 100 Black Women (NCBW) and Chair NABF Economic & Finance Group, to mention but a few of the high impact positions that she holds.
She earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of the District of Columbia in Washington DC and has a loving husband of over 28 years and responsible young adult children.
