Management of Medview Airline has announced exciting incentives to all travel agents doing business with it stating that the agents will get complimentary tickets selling the airline ticket on all its routes, including domestic and international.
This is just as the airline has assured travel agents on its commitment to smooth out all transactions between them, urging the agents to continuously support the airline in a bid to serve the Nigerian people better.
Speaking at a one day Agency Forum, at the Stone hedge Abuja hotel, the airline announced some packages to the travel agents revealing that they get a complimentary ticket for every five or six passengers that fly with Medview for a single flight depending on the route.
The agents according to Medview will also get a complimentary ticket from Medview when they sell nine of the airline’s tickets to London, Gatwick.
In the welcome address by the Managing Director of Medview, Alhaji Muneer Bankole he thanked the agents for identifying with the Medview brand, stating that the airline was living up to its billing as the airline for Nigeria.
Bankole who was represented by the Head of Business Development of the airline, Isiaq Na’allah, promised the best of relationships with the travel agents stating that the camaraderie can only get better.
While responding to questions from the agents on the airline’s activities the airline promised to resolve any arising issues
On the aspect of remission of finances as indicated by the a travel agent the airline explained that they were two processes involving the International Air Transport Association Billing Settlement Plan (IATA-BSP) and the non- IATA compliant agents explaining to them how money is deducted.
On interlining with other airlines, Medview said that by March the airline will be done with its IATA safety Operational Audit (IOSA) stating that once that is done, it will open the window for interlining with other airlines.
Na’Allah while giving his presentation also explained that the airline has been designated on many international routes and would soon commence its Dubai operations four times in a week as well as Dakar and other West Coast regions.
“Medview has been designated on many international routes and would soon commence Dubai four times a week, as well as Dakar (Senegal) and Monrovia (Liberia) three times and four times a week respectively.”
Other routes on the airline’s slated intent include Abidjan, Bamako, Conakry, Cotonou, Doula, Kinshasa and Libreville,” he said.
