Mikel Obi joined youngsters at a sandy pitch in Ebute Metta for a grassroot game recently.
The former Chelsea and Super Eagles star thrilled the youngsters and fans who surrounded the pitch with his scintillating skills.
Mikel recently launched a “Back to Base” project in Nigeria with the aim of discovering and promoting talented youngsters.
The game with the youngsters was part of activities to create awareness for the three-day “Back to Base” event which took place in June 2022.
Mikel Obi is yet to announce his retirement from active football but has been without a club since November 5, 2021 when he terminated his contract with Kuwait Sports Club.
