The Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Abia Chapter, Rev Augustine Ehiemere has confirmed that four Abia political heavyweights have obtained the party’s governorship forms.

Ehiemere disclosed this in Aba on Wednesday while speaking to journalists.

He named the political heavyweights interested in contesting the Abia gubernatorial seat as Mr. Chikwe Udensi, Prof. Greg Ibe, Maj-Gen Ijioma Nwokoro (rtd) and Mr. Etigwe Uwa (SAN).

“They have all come into APGA, bought their forms and submitted.

“APGA is the party to beat as the race for who will occupy the state’s governorship seat intensifies”, he said.

Ehiemere boasted that nothing will stop APGA from defeating both the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that both parties are currently collapsing into APGA

The APGA Chairman said his party is poised to take over Abia’s seat of government stressing that the party is 150 per cent prepared to repeat their 2015 feat in Abia.

“Nothing can stop APGA from taking up the seat of power in Abia State come 2023. It is already in God’s hands. PDP and APC are all collapsing into APGA and that’s the fact on the ground.

“Aside from Mr. Chikwe Udensi, these other three were originally not APGA members until recently.

“That is to tell you that the other parties are collapsing into APGA and if you look at the combination of those that have declared for governorship under APGA, you will realize that PDP and APC have collapsed into APGA.

“That tells you that APGA will become an undertaker of all of them come 2023 and aside from the governorship, APGA is on course to be victorious in other positions,” he said
