
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant in Gombe State, Alhaji Hassan Muhammadu has praised the resilience and competence of the five Anambra State girls for coming tops at this year’s Technovation Programme held recently in San Fransisco, USA.
He made the commendation personally signed by him in commemoration of the 2018 international youth day where he added that this is enough evidence that the Nigerian youth can hold their own if given the right environment to operate.
According to him, “I congratulate our young girls from Regina Pacies Secondary School Onitcha, Anambra State, who demonstrated the capacity and competence of the Nigerian youth by developing a software that beat over 2,000 competing applications until they emerged victorious”.
He expressed his unflinching support for the youth to be given and enjoy conducive environment that enables them incubate and formulate visions, pursue dreams, innovate and build great nations.
He challenged youths to start asking the right questions, think positively and work harder in order to succeed adding, ” I also call on all stakeholders to forge new partnerships by joining efforts to eliminate all the barriers to success that young people face, to make them less vulnerable to all sorts of exclusion until we all are able to see the world through their eyes”.
