Igbo Catholic Church, Newark, New Jersey, USA hosts visiting Royalty

The Igbo Catholic Church (ICC), Blessed Sacrament St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Newark, New Jersey, United States of America (USA) played host to Royalty last Sunday, May 21, 2023 as two Traditional Rulers from Imo State, Nigeria worshipped there.

The visiting Traditional Rulers are the Chairman of Akah-Ebeiri Council of Traditional Rulers and Ozoano 11 of Amazano Ancient Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Eze Ceaser Ugochukwu Duruegbuso, accompanied by his wife, Ugoeze Precious Nkechi Duruegbuso, and His Royal Majesty, Eze H.I.A Ojinnaka, Eze Si N’Obi IV of Umuaka Ancient Kingdom.

They were introduced to the Parishioners by Rev. Father Peter Iwuala and were warmly welcomed. The Chief Host of the Royal Fathers is Hon. Anthony Richard Onyemepu, the President, Uumuaka Development Union, TRISTATE – New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.

After the Mass, there were photo sessions with Parishioners, especially people from the Traditional Rulers’ Kingdoms.
