Immediate past Consul General of Nigeria in New York, Amb. Lot Egopija, loses Mum, Mrs. Eunice Ikpe Egopija
The entire Egopija family of Agbi-Isibo, Ebukuma Town, Andoni, Rivers State, has announced the passing onto glory of their beloved Matriarch, Mrs. Eunice Ikpe Egopija (nee Ukwu Jumbo), aged 87.
To honor the memory of the departed woman of God, the family has also rolled out a program for the Celebration of the life of positive impact that Mrs. Egopija lived.
According to the program, endorsed by Ernest Egopija and Leticia Okonkwo (nee Egopija), a Christian Wake will hold on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Egopija’s Compound at Agbi-Isibok, Ebukuma Town, Andoni, Rivers State.
On Saturday, July 6, 2024, there will be a Funeral Service from 10:00am at Egopija’s Compound, while a Reception will follow immediately after interment at the same venue.
The passage of late Mrs. Egopija, a highly respected community and Christian leader and a philanthropist of repute, is being mourned across the world by the countless number of people that she lifted and blessed, in one way or the other, directly and indirectly, as she journeyed through life.
The late saint triumphant was also the mother of the immediate past Consul General of Nigeria in New York, United States of America (USA), Ambassador Peter Lot Egopija, among others.
