Knights of St John International hold Convention in Buffalo, New York, elect Officers

The M-Hotel in Buffalo, New York, United States, came alive with officers, commanders, and delegates of the Knights of St John International from all over the world.

The event was the 82nd International – 56th Biennial Convention of the Order, for the election of officers, with the theme “Never give up on God’s mercy.”

At the end of the elections, the following brothers were elected to pilot the affairs of the Noble Order: General Thomas Deluca (Supreme President), Lt. Gen Martin Bella (1st Vice President), Lt. Gen Patrick Igwilo (2nd Vice President), Lt. Gen Chijioke (CJ) Okafor (Supreme Secretary), Lt. Gen Terrence McCann (Treasurer), Major General Donatus Anigbogu (Trustee USA), and Major General Gerald Ganda (Trustees Overseas).

There were executive board meetings, Advisory board meetings, memorial mass, Knights’ business meeting, banquet, and to crown it all, a Eucharistic mass Celebration.

Some of those in attendance were General Dale Gossiaux, General Frank Waseleski Sr, General Timothy Hoerst, Maj. Gen. Brian Stehlin, Maj. Gen Moenti Young, Maj. Gen Sean Dey, Maj. Gen Aagon F. Tingba Jr, Maj. Gen Remy Uche, Brig Gen Peter Dery, Rev Msgr Frederico A. Britto, Brig Gen Charles Abiakwe, Brig Gen Peter Ezemoya, Brig Gen Francis Keshi, Brig Gen Michael Days, Brig Gen Andrew Voce, Brig Gen Francis Kollie, Col. Chinedum Uche, Col. Rudolph Weedor among numerous other brothers of the Order.

Speaking during the Convention, the immediate past Supreme President, General Frank Weseleski told brothers that ” we are about the future, not the past,” while the Supreme Secretary, an articulate man of few words told brothers of the Knights of St John International, “let us go far together.”

The Convention, though scaled down to only Presidents, Commanders and Supreme Delegates, was quite an exciting and successful one, and the Supreme President, General Thomas Deluca was full of praise for the Organizing committee.

He, thereafter, also announced that the next Knights of St John International Convention will be held in New Jersey, United States, in the year 2026.
