Logo unveiling, N500m Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival fund raising takes place Thursday, September 12 in Abuja

The logo unveiling ceremony and N500million Fund Raising ceremony towards the Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

A notice by the Committee organising the program, under the Authority of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege 111, the Paramount Ruler of Ogbomosoland, inviting everyone to the event gave the time for commencement of the historic program as 6:00 pm (WAT).

The venue of the ceremony, which will mark the flag off of a new move towards the promotion of the rich cultural heritage of Ogbomosoland, is Ajuji Greenwich Hotel, Plot 1033 Joseph Gomwalk Street, Off Abdulsalami Abubakar Road, Gudu District, Abuja.

All sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland in Abuja, Nigeria and elsewhere in the world as well as their friends, relatives and associates are expected to attend the landmark program.

Also expected at the event that will begin the process of global repositioning of the ancient Ogbomoso Kingdom are top government functionaries, business Chiefs, Diplomats, security top shots and friends of Ogbomosoland at home and in the Diaspora.

The maiden edition of the one-of-a -kind Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival will take place later this year in Ogbomosoland to mark the first anniversary of the coronation of Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye.
