For Mazi Ndubuisi Chinemerem Ejike, President of Mbano Association of New Jersey, United States of America and Chancellor of Enyioma International Club of New Jersey, September 7, 2018, will remain an ever Golden Day.
It was on that special Friday, that relatives, friends, associates, the Clergy and well wishers from far and near turned out in their best attires to honour him as he turned the landmark golden age of 50.
Venue of the memorable event was the Best Western – Robert Treat Hotel, 50 Park Place, Newark New Jersey.
It was, indeed, a day of great joy, much dancing, good food and drinks and testimonies of the faithfulness of God.
It was also a golden opportunity for the Golden Boy to publicly celebrate his wife, Obiamaka and children Uche Erica, Chinemerem Ndubuisi and Chidera Chisom as well as his mother, Nneoma Mercy Chinyere Ejike.
Other personalities that have played major roles in his journey to stardom like the past Presidents of Mbano Association in New Jersey, Chief (Sir) Allwell Ezealaji, Sir Clem Ezeh and Sir Felix Osuji, the Elders of Mbano, his cabinet members, led by Dame Ivy Onyejekwe, the Enyioma International Club of New Jersey, the Coal City Social Club of New Jersey, were also, in one way or the other celebrated at the event.
The outpouring of love towards Mazi Ejike at 50 was, in itself, also testimony to a life of positive impact in the lives of all who have come in contact with him in one way or the other. Sir Clem Ezeh summed him up in a few words: “a special rare breed human being.” For Monsignor Anselm Nworgu “Ejike is a gentleman per excellence” and for many others, Mazi Ejike at 50 could also, only be captured in such superlative terms.
The great event would not have been so without the commitment and hard work of the Planning Committee made up of Dr. (Mrs) Nkechi Nwafili, Multiple Chief Kelechi Onyegbule, Ms Ogoo Anukwu, Engr Chima Nwigwe, Mrs Queen Duru, Lolo Oby Onyegbule and Hon. Sir Emma Ibe, and their effort was, deservedly acknowledged.
The occasion was flawlessly chaired by Sir Clem Ezeh, music was supplied by DJ Topaz, while the splendid hall was decorated by Mrs Rita Ohia.
