It has been 22 years since executive producer; Steven Spielberg took to the big screen with the film series, Jurassic Park. The man behind films including ET, Saving Private Ryan & Jaws is back with Jurassic World. During the new movie, Jurassic World the characters put their trust in the off-road capabilities of numerous Mercedes-Benz models; one vehicle in particular being the GLE Coupé, which appears in its series look for the very first time.
The new GLE Coupé really does show off its best side. The first prototype of its new SUV-sector vehicle was handmade one and a half years before the model’s market launch for the film.
“Unveiling the new GLE Coupé in Jurassic World was a natural fit as we continue our relationship with Mercedes,” said producer Frank Marshall. “Audiences will find that the vehicles featured in the film lend themselves perfectly as the transportation of choice in the fully functioning international theme park we have created at Jurassic World.”
The movie, however, is not the first Mercedes-Benz to feature a Jurassic Park film. The brand first took partnership with Universal in 1997, for the first Jurassic Park film: The Lost World, which introduced the M-Class.
The film also features other Mercedes models that feature in the movie include G63 AMG, G-Glass, Sprinter and Unimogs. The movie was released in Nigeria on the 12th June 2015.
