The mother of Her Excellency, Dr. (Mrs.) Uzoma Emenike, Nigeria’s new Ambassador to the United States of America (USA), Lady Felicia Olaocha Ohadiugha, will be committed to mother earth on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Lady Ohadiugha, who was affectionately called Mama Nwanyiocha by all those who knew her closely, passed on to glory recently at the age of 92.
According to a burial program released by her family of late Sir Martin Agwu Ohadiugha of Umule, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, the late Matriarch would be laid to rest in her home after a Requiem Mass at the Holy Trinity Parish, Umule, Ohuhu, Umuahia on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
A Virgil Mass, which would be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Holy Trinity Parish, Umule, Umuahia on Friday June 25, 2021 would precede the interment on Saturday.
There will be an Outing/Thanksgiving Mass in honor of the much loved Christian leader and philanthropist at Holy Trinity Parish, Umule, Ohuhu on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
Her Excellency, Dr. Uzoma Emenike, Nigeria’s first female Ambassador to the USA, is already in Nigeria for the burial, and dignitaries from all over the world are expected to grace the event.
Until her recent appointment, Dr. (Mrs.) Emenike, was Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland and Iceland.
