Mrs. Obiano felicitates with Oye, wife on 30th wedding anniversary

The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Chief (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano has felicitated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Alliance (APGA) Chief Sir. Victor Oye and his wife May on the occasion of their 30th marriage anniversary and 60th birthday celebration of Chief Oye. Mrs. Obiano stated this in a chat with newsmen shortly after the celebrations held on Saturday at the grounds of St. Patricks’ Cathedral Awka, Anambra State.

Extolling the virtues and qualities of the APGA National Chairman, Chief Sir Victor Oye and his wife, Mrs. Obiano said that what the couple were celebrating was made possible by the grace of God which is acknowledged by Ndi Anambra, APGA fateful and indeed the rest of Nigeria.

Said she: “We came to share in the joy of Chief Sir Victor Oye and his beautiful wife who are celebrating 30 years of blissful marriage. You would agree with me that the thanksgiving is worthwhile with gifts of beautiful children and good health for the celebrants and Chief Oye also marking 60th birthday. What else can you ask from God? So they had good reasons to celebrate as a family and with friends. We are indeed happy for them and pray that God will continue to bless and keep them.”

Mrs. Obiano, who is the Founder and promoter of Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), reiterated the commitment of her NGO towards promoting the welfare of the family and the less privileged in the society in support of the laudable programmes of the government of Anambra State, led by her husband Chief Willie Obiano, whom she stated, is working steadfastly to ensure that people feel the impact of government at all levels, and called for the support Ndi Anambra.

Earlier ‎in his remarks, Chief Sir Oye ‎thanked the Governor, APGA members and Ndi Anambra as well as dignitaries who came from different parts of Nigeria to support and celebrate with his family.
