Nigeria invites 30 NPFL stars for 2024 CHAN qualifiers against Ghana

Super Eagles B coach Augustine Eguavoen has selected 30 players for Nigeria’s upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Ghana. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is preparing the team for the first stage of the qualification.

The squad includes key players such as Steven Mayo from Rivers United, goalkeeper Kayode Bankole from Remo Stars, Abia Warriors striker Sunday Megwo, and Kano Pillars midfielder Rabiu Ali, who has scored eight goals this season. Victor Collins from Nasarawa United, who was recently part of the Super Eagles squad for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, is also in the team.

The players are expected to report to the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, for training.
