

THE Nigerian Healthcare Foundation, Inc (NHF)’s Faces of Hope Gala 2019 comes up on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Robert Treat Hotel, 50 Park Place, Newark, New Jersey, NJ 07102.
The Cocktail Hour of the event is from 6.00 PM while the Award Gala with Dancing to Follow is from 7.00 PM.
NHF organizes highly successful Annual Mission Trips to Imo State, Nigeria, targeted at redressing ‘the deterioration of Nigeria due to problems such as poverty, hunger, and disease.”
The 2019 Mission Trip, according to the organizers, takes place from July 6 to 20, 2019, the goal being to “drastically improve, not only the health conditions in Nigeria but also the state of social welfare” of the people.
Through these Mission Trips, “donated medicines and medical supplies reach impoverished and isolated communities where even basic medical care is inaccessible to the poor or often non-existent.”
The NHF has on its Board of Directors, Chief Dr. Iwuozo L. Obilo, President, Obilo Pediatrics Associates, PC; Lolo Mrs Rossana Obilo, Vice President, Newark Board of Education; Sir Clement Ezeh, Zheer Development Corporation; Dr. Michael Giuliano, Seton Hall Hackensack Meridian Medical School and Jeryl Turco Maglio, Trustee, Dolores Turco Foundation.
Other distinguished members of the Board are Dr. Josefina Miranda, Children of Joy Pediatrics; Ms Nimi Amachree Esq. Consulate General of Nigeria, New York; Dr. Mrs. Nkechi Nwafili, Merck Corporation and Mrs. Ijeoma Obilo Faison (Executive Director).
The Faces of Hope Gala 2019 promises to surpass the past events, going by the level of preparations so far made and by the array of dignitaries from all walks of life that are expected to grace the occasion.
Chairman of the event is Rosa Josefina Miranda, MD, CEO Children of Joy Pediatrics while the Distinguished 2019 Honorees are Vivian Nwakah, Co-founder, Medsaf for Face of Hope Award and Dr. Ola Orekunrin Brown, Founder & CEO Flying Doctors Nigeria for Image of Hope Award.
The full Honorees list would be unveiled at the event. The attire for the occasion is traditional or black tie.
The organizers of the grade A event are inviting individuals, groups and corporations to partner with them in this selfless effort to give hope to the hopeless. The categories of sponsorship include Presenting Sponsor (Diamond), Benefactor of Hope (Platinum), Leader of Hope (Gold) and Patron of Hope (Silver).

The NHF runs the Nigeria Smiles Campaign throughout the year to collect much needed medical, hygiene, and school supplies to distribute to the patients that visit their temporary Clinic over the course of the Mission.
Individuals, groups or corporations interested in being part of the Campaign are also invited to partner with the NHF to implement this laudable community service initiative.
