An online conference, on the theme: Leveraging Diaspora Resources for National Development in a Covid-19 era, is expected to hold tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, 2020 in recognition of the Nigerian National Diaspora Day.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has set aside July 25 every year to recognize the contributions of Nigerians in the Diaspora to national development.
A goodwill message is expected to be delivered by President Muhammadu Buhari, while the Keynote Speaker is Masai Ujiri, President, Toronto Raptors Basket Ball Team, Canada’s 2019 World Champions.
To start at 2PM Nigeria/UK / 9am ET/6pm PT USA / 9pm China, other Speakers/Panelists for the event are Victor Edozien, CEO SET Enterprises, USA, Professor Augustine Esogbue, Laureate, Nigerian National Order of Merit (NNOM)and many more distinguished personalities.
The program, which can be registered for, free, at https://diaspora.gov.ng/dday has as hosts, Mike Edwards (UK), Nigerian High Jumper/TV Personality and Seun Adigun (USA), 1st African Summer & Winter Olympian.
The Chief Host for the Conference is Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM.
All Nigerians in Dispora are expected to be part of the program.
