“No lion will eat you,” Pastor Adeboye prays; Decrees, fuel crisis will end soon

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, G.O, RCCG

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has decreed that the challenges being currently faced by Nigerians, especially the scarcity of fuel, will soon become a thing of the past.

Pastor Adeboye said this Friday night during the Church’s Holy Ghost Service that had as its theme, “Wonderful Part 2: The Nature of God.”

The Cleric, who ministered on the theme: “The Influence of the Almighty God,” continuing from last month’s theme, “Wonderful: The Size of God,” also prayed for God’s mercy for Nigeria and noted that the Almighty God is tremendously influential.

Stressing that nobody can come near the Almighty God in influence, he said that God has influence everywhere, all over the universe, in the heavens, the heavenlies, at the top of the mountains, the bottom of the oceans, across the earth, under the earth, among the angels, among animals, birds, and so on.

He insisted that anyone plotting against God’s children are wasting their time; that God, the Lord of Hosts, is the Commander in Chief of innumerable extremely powerful angels who are at His beck and call and that at least two of these angels are guarding each of God’s children at any given time. Using the example of Daniel in the lions’ den (Daniel 6:1-22) he prayed that no lion will eat any of God’s children.

He also prayed, among others, that these angels, as happened with Peter, will lead God’s children out of every form of prison to safety without keys; that anyone that tries to harm or block the way to the fulfilment of the destiny of any of God’s children, an angel will slap (smite) him like the angel that smote Herod, the King that wanted to kill Peter in the Bible, and he (the King) was eaten up by worms (Acts 12: 18-24).

God controls the angels in the heavenlies, which includes the sun, the moon and the stars (Psalm 121:1-8), Pastor Adeboye said and He can command the sun, the moon and the stars not to smite any of His children. God can also command the sun not to set and the moon not to rise (Joshua 10:12-14) whenever He wishes; meaning that until you finish the assignment God has for you, you will not die.

He said God who controls the heavenlies can also command the sun to go backwards (2Kings 20:1-11) and prayed that none will die before their time, and also prayed that God, who has the power to do so, will fast forward His children’s blessings (Mathew 15: 21-28) so that the position that could have been theirs in the future will become theirs before the end of this year.

God controls the rain and will give it moderately to His people, enough to bless and not too in excess as to cause grief. The wind and the seas obey Him; He controls animals, shuts and opens their mouths as He pleases (1Kings 13:1-25; Daniel 6:1-28) and will use the law of substitution (Proverbs 11:8) to replace His children with those that put them in the lion’s den.

He can use a donkey to prophecy (Numbers 22:21-35), the Cleric noted, stressing that when anyone needs help, God can use an animal or anything else to help the person. He narrated how God used a small dog to help him when he was lost in the jungle as a small boy and prayed that if God needs to send an animal to help anyone, He has the influence to do so (Jonah 2:10; Matthew 17:24-27; Luke 5:1-7). He prayed that God will use whatever method He pleases to help His people.

God can also use birds to help His people (1Kings 17:2-6). The G.O therefore decreed that the devil will not eat any of His children’s miracles or miss their address as the ravens did not eat the food meant for Elijah or miss the address of where he was.

God controls all men (Proverbs 19:21), including Kings (Prov21:1), Pastor Adeboye pointed out, and turns the hearts of anyone as He pleases, and can use Kings or servants to fulfil the dreams of His people (Genesis 41:1-44). The Cleric prayed that God will use whoever He pleases to bring to pass what He has purposed for His people, insisting that God’s people will laugh last.

He also noted that God controls everything underneath the earth (Psalm 24:1; Isaiah 45:3 Haggai 2:8; Job 29:1-6) and releases to His people whatever will cause their joy to be full.

One word from God, the Cleric stressed, can bring to pass the dramatic transformation that God’s people desire (Psalm 33:8-9; Isaiah 55: 10-11;), like in the case of the centurion and his sick servant (Luke 7:1-10) and Blind Bartimeus (Mark 10:46-52).

Pastor Adeboye reassured the congregation that God will not allow any of His children to be attacked or harmed and besides intensive prayers, released prophetic declarations including that God will silence all the mockers of His children. He also told the congregation to enlarge their capacity to give thanks because a flood of blessings is on the way.

High praises and worship, intensive prayers, ministration of the word of God and spectacular testimonies of the faithfulness of the Almighty God also featured during the Holy Ghost Service that held in spite of the fuel and new Naira notes scarcity in Nigeria.

The highly respected Cleric also remind the congregation, onsite and online, that next month, from March 2-5, 2023, will be the Special Holy Ghost Service of the Church for this year with the theme: “The God of Breakthroughs.”

The Special Holy Ghost Service of March will mark the General Overseer’s 81st birthday.
