Oil magnate, Prince Rotimi Ibidapo, to commission Shear butter factory in Owo, Ondo State soon

An oil magnate, hospitality industry guru and illustrious indigene of Owo Kingdom in Ondo State, Prince Rotimi Ibidapo, will soon commission his Shea butter factory in Owo.

The Atunluse of Owo Kingdom, Prince Ibidapo, a renowned businessman, community leader and notable philanthropist, recently conducted some prominent indigenes of the Kingdom round the multi-million Naira factory that is nearly set to commence operation.

Named Alpha-Shea Integrated Producing Ltd, the factory, which is sited in Owo will be fully engaged in the production of Shea-Butter for export.

Shea butter derivatives are acknowledged universally to be essential materials for Chocolate and diverse beauty products and is in very high demand in both the developed and developing countries of the world .

It is estimated that the company, when fully operational, will earn millions of dollars from its export trading enterprise, thus boosting the non-oil foreign trade earnings of Nigeria. The establishment of the company, many of the dignitaries who toured the facility said, is a much needed economic breakthrough that will assist in turning around Nigeria’s economic fortunes.

The company, when commissioned will employ over 250 workers directly, and engage many more indirectly, a welcome prospect that will take a lot of restless and un-employed youths off the streets of Owo and other surrounding catchment areas and towns of Ondo State and beyond.

The consensus among the excited and proud prominent stakeholders that toured the fully automated facilities of the company, among who was Hon. Justice (Dr) Adesuyi Olateru-Olagbegi, is that evidently, Owo is on the rise again.
