Pastor Adeboye says today’s RCCG Holy Ghost Service (online) will be Special

Pastor Enoch Adeboye

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, will hold its first online Holy Ghost Service today, Friday, April 3, 2020, as a result of the global pandemic, coronavirus.

Also called COVID-19, the pandemic has necessitated lockdowns of cities in nations across the world, including Lagos and Ogun states in Nigeria where RCCG has its Redemption Camp.

The theme of the Service, which the General Overseer, GO, of the Mission, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, said will be very special, is Let There Be Light 4. The Service will be broadcast live to the homes of the millions of members of the Church and others worldwide.

Speaking at an equally historic first online Holy Communion Service of the Mission, Thursday, April 2, 2020, Pastor Adeboye said that also as a result of the lockdown, the usual Special Holy Ghost Service for Children, which holds in April every year, at which children are anointed, was being postponed to a date to be announced after the world has concluded the compulsory holiday imposed by God.

He had said earlier that God told him about the holiday, which he said would, however, soon end.

Millions of members of the Mission from across the world and others who usually throng the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway ultra-modern Camp of the Church for mountain moving prayers, soul-stirring praise and worship sessions, prophetic declarations, the inspired Word of God and spectacular testimonies of the faithfulness of God are expected to join today’s Service online via Dove Media and the social media platforms of the Church and would be sure to receive the same high level of ministrations, this time, brought to their living rooms worldwide.
