The Super Eagles on Tuesday held a training session at the team’s base in Bad Tatzmanndsdorf, Austria ahead of their final pre-World Cup friendly against Czech Republic.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Super Eagles had travelled to Austria on Sunday to kick off the final phase of their preparation for the Russia 2018 World Cup.
They departed London on Sunday morning after playing a friendly with England on Saturday at Wembley Stadium, which they lost 1-2.
The team’s training session was posted in a 20-second video on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.
In the video, the players and officials were seen engaging in a light jogging and work-out sessions at the team’s camp.
On Wednesday morning, the Eagles will travel the one hour distance by road to Vienna, where they play the Czech Republic at the Rudolf Tonn Stadion.
They are expected to return to their Avita resort in Bad Tatzmanndsdorf immediately after the match to put finishing touches to their World Cup program there.
They are billed to be there before flying to Yessentuki, the team base camp at the World Cup, on June 11.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to kick off from June 14 and end on July 15.
