Pastor Adeboye’s 80th birthday celebration climaxes with Special Holy Ghost Service; Theme: The Joy of the Lord

The elaborate 80th birthday ceremonies for the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye will climax with the Special Holy Ghost Service of the Church that runs from today, Thursday, March 3 to Saturday, March 5, 2022 with the theme: The Joy of God.

Different programs have been organized to give the highly respected Cleric a befitting landmark birthday anniversary, including the highly successful Reach4Christ initiative that took cities, towns and institutions across the country by storm with its LightUp messages and awe-inspiring scenes of huge waves of lighted smart phones.

From Ifewara in Osun State to Yenagoa in Bayelsa State to Warri and Abraka in Delta, Enugu in Enugu State to Uyo in Akwa Ibom, Gombe in Gombe State, to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and three centers in Lagos for the grand finale – Tafawa Balewa Square, Ikorodu and LASU, huge crowds turned out and so many surrendered their lives to God at the mega rallies that had as aim, the winning of eight million souls to Christ in 80 days.

As the LightUp crusades were sweeping through the land, Christian Corporate Social Responsibility projects were being inaugurated, about 800, 000 across the world, estimated at N25 billion, to impact society positively.

There was also the Annual Lecture in honor of Daddy G.O as Pastor Adeboye is fondly called by millions all over the world. The Lecture for 2022, with the theme: “A Country of Many Nations: A Quest for National Integration,” was delivered by radical Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, and the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina.

A book review session on some of the books of Pastor Adeboye was featured, as a well as a program dedicated to the unveiling of the less known facts about the life and times of the General Overseer of the mega Church.

In the last 80 hours, nonstop praise and worship sessions, the Marathon Messiah Praise, with the theme, The Soon Coming King, has been electrifying audiences, on site and online, all over the world.

Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Mummy G.O, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, appeared at one of the sessions of the Marathon Messiah Praise on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 to cut his birthday cake, supported by Mummy G.O, and to pray for those all over the world who have been part of the Marathon praise and worship sessions.

The programs lined up to celebrate the 80th birthday of the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Mathematics holder turned Pastor, teacher, preacher extra ordinaire, prophet, mega Evangelist and life coach have, like the other programs of the Church, been bringing immeasurable and unquantifiable joy to audiences across the world.

The Special Holy Ghost Service will climax the landmark, extra ordinary birthday package for the Pastor of Pastors who has been receiving birthday greetings from leaders across the world of different religions and cultures, all of who identify with his legendary humility, his insistence on the gospel of Holiness and his huge hunger and thirst for soul winning.

The programs for today, Thursday will be youths centered, Friday will be the Holy Ghost Service Day, while Saturday, March 4, 2022 will feature the Holy Communion and Anointing Service of the program. Sunday will be the Thanksgiving service.

The Services will be marked by miracles, signs and wonders, with more praise and worship sessions and ministration of the World.
