Peter Obi describes Abeokuta Campaign Rally as awesome; Hails Afenifere leader, Pa Adebanjo

Mr. Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has described the campaign of the party in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital that was attended by elder statesman, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, as awesome.

Chief Adebanjo, the leader of apex Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Afenifere, is part of the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum that has already declared support for Mr. Obi as President and Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as Vice President in the February 25, 2023, election.

Mr. Obi said in a tweet on the Campaign rally that held on Saturday, February 4, 2023: “The Ogun State Rally was simply awesome; it was further buoyed by the presence of PA Adebanjo. We are eternally grateful. -PO.”
