Peter Obi has no interview appointment with CNN’s Christiana Amanpour

Labour Party Presidential Candidate for the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi has no interview date with CNN’s Christiana Amanpour, a statement from his Media Adviser, Valentine Obienyem, has said.

There have been posts on different social media platforms recently saying that Amanpour, a celebrated news personality, will be hosting Mr. Obi and his running mate, Dr. Datti Ahmed, on August 13, 2022.

Obienyem, however, stressed in his statement, that “No discussion has, or is being planned to be opened on that subject matter for now.”

Mr. Obi, a former Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and two-term Governor of Anambra State, has been traversing the country, consulting widely, towards the success of his presidential bid on the platform of the Labour Party which has gained much traction nationwide.
