Peter Obi storms the United States of America (See events, times, venues)

The Peter Obi is billed for the United States of America (USA) starting today, August 29, 2022, with the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate expected to address Town Hall Meetings and grant interviews in major cities of the leading democracy in the world.

Mr. Obi has in the recent past been in some Western nations where he has addressed Nigerians and friends of the country in packed to capacity halls.

He has been in Germany and Canada and was also at the Vatican in Rome.

Starting from today, he would be making appearances where he would be speaking on the role of Nigeria’s Diaspora in good governance in the nation of the birth of most of his audience.

Under the general theme: “Good Governance: The Role of Nigeria’s Diaspora,” Mr. Obi who was in Toronto, Canada yesterday (Sunday, August 28, 2022) at the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites, will shake up Los Angeles, California today, Monday, August 29, 2022.

His engagements between 3:00 PM and 5.00 PM will include a Media Interface with popular media personality, Adeola Fayehun. Thereafter, from 7:00 PM – 11.30PM, there will be Dinner and a Lecture on the “Role of Nigeria’s Diaspora in Civic Leadership in the Country at The Beverly Hilton, 9876 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, the two-term Governor of Anambra State and Vice Presidential Candidate in 2019 will be in Houston Texas, at a Dinner Lecture on “Active Engagement by Nigeria’s Diaspora for Civil Leadership between 7:00pm – 11:00pm.

On Wednesday, August 31, 2022,  from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, there will be a Media Interface. USAfrica will interview Peter Obi while from 8:00AM to 10:30AM there will be Breakfast (with 30 persons) with a talk on “Rebuilding Nigeria is Our Collective Responsibility” at Marriot West Chase, 2900 Briarpark Drive, Houston, TX 77042.

On the same Wednesday August 31, 2022, Mr. Obi will be in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA where from 6pm – 10:00pm he will be at Little Rock AME Zion Church (The Sanctuary Hall), 401 N. McDowell Street, Charlotte, NC 28204 for a Town Hall Meeting to address the “Role of an Active Diaspora in Nigeria’s Economic Development.”

The tsunami will arrive Washington, DC USA on Thursday September 1, 2022. From 11:00AM – 3:00PM there will be an Economic Roundtable at the US Chamber of Commerce, 1615 H Street NW, Washington, DC., DC20062 and from 6:00PM – 8:00PM, at Cramton Auditorium, Howard University, 2455 6th St NW Washington, DC 20059 there will be another Town Hall Meeting where the rave of the moment will interact with Nigerian nationals and friends of the country.

On Friday, September 2, 2022, Mr. Obi will be in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. From 8PM – 11.30PM, he will be at 3100 Event Center, 3100 Avalon Ridge Place, NW Peach Street Corners, Atlanta, GA 30071 for a Town Hall Meeting and would speak on “Rebuilding Nigeria’s Economy.”

Saturday, September 3, 2022 will see Obi, who is running the presidential race with Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as his Vice Presidential candidate having a Breakfast and Virtual Media Chat/Interview with CNN’s Zane Asher from 9:00 Am – 10 am at the Hilton Hotel, 5993 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Atlanta, GA 30092.

On Sunday, September 4, 2022, it will be the turn of New York, NY to have a feel of the Obi movement. There will be a Town Hall Meeting, “Afro Economics and Government Policy: A Conversation with Peter Obi,” from 12:00 PM-4:00PM by the Africa Business Club + Black Law Students Association, Columbia University.
