President Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday, October 18, 2018, received in audience the Governors of Ekiti, Kebbi and Akwa Ibom states, Kayode Fayemi, Atiku Bagudu and Udom Emmanuel, respectively, in the State House, Abuja.
He also received Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of Turkey, H.E. Mr Ahmat Melih Ulueren, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Nigeria, H.E. E.M.D. Shameem Ahsan and the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, H.E. Adnan Bin Mahmoud Bin Muhammad.
In addition, the President held a meeting with top Security Chiefs, including the Minister of Defence, Brig Gen Mansur Dan Ali, Chief of Army Staff, Lt General T.Y Buratai, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar and Inspector General of Police, IGP. Mr. Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, ostensibly on the state of security in the country.
