President Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday, October 6, 2016, received the Leadership 2015 Man of the Year Award.
The Award which he shares with former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and former Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega was presented by former military President, General Abdulsalam Abubakar, at a colourful and well attended ceremony at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
Whereas President Buhari was physically present to receive his Award, former President Jonathan was represented by Mr Tanimu Turaki.
They received the Awards for the roles they played in the last general election.
Other distinguished Nigerians also received various other Awards in different categories.
