The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has reiterated commitment to youths empowerment, as  plans have been concluded to equip no fewer than 100,000 young adults with skills to access global workforce opportunities.

The Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Youth Affairs), RCCG, Pastor Sola Olukoya, made this known at a news briefing on Monday in Lagos.

Olukoya, on behalf of the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adebayo, said the empowerment programme would be unveiled in the church’s Mega Music Festival (MMF 2.0) being organised by  RCCG Young Adults and Youth Affairs (Yaya).

The News Agency of Nigeria  (NAN) reports that the music Festival will hold on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, with the theme: “A New Season”.

Olukoya explained that the church would, at the festival, inaugurate the RCCG Young Adult and Youth Tech Fellowship, an initiative designed to empower over 100,000 young adults and youths through an intensive four-month practical, hands-on technology training programme.

“Mega Music Festival 2.0 is not only about declaring a new season; it is also about preparing a generation to participate in that new season.

“As part of this historic gathering, we will officially launch the RCCG Young Adult and Youth Tech Fellowship, an initiative of RCCG Young Adults and Youth Affairs in conjunction with Reach4Christ.

“This transformational initiative is designed to empower over 100,000 young adults and youths through an intensive four-month practical, hands-on technology training programme,” he said.

He further explained that the fellowship would provide world-class digital skills training, mentorship, and capacity development in areas such as: Data Analysis and Visualisation, Product Development.

Other areas  of focus were Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, Digital Innovation and other future-focused technology skills.

He said, “We understand that the world is changing rapidly, and the future belongs to those who are prepared.

“Our mission is to equip young people spiritually, mentally, and professionally — giving them the tools required to access global workforce opportunities, create solutions, build enterprises, and contribute meaningfully to national development”.

According to him, the church is gathering thousands of believers from across Nigeria and beyond to lift one sound of worship before God and declare the beginning of a new season over our lives, our families, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a nation.

“We believe that as Nigeria raises an altar of praise, every chain of limitation will be broken, and God will open new doors over our nation,” he said.

According to him, for the night of worship, there will be several spirit-filled worship leaders who will lead God’s people into an atmosphere of praise including Minister Mercy Chinwo, Gospel Force and many other anointed worship leaders.

Similarly, there would also be powerful moments of prayers and prophetic declarations led by anointed servants of God including Pastor J. F. Odesola and other senior ministers.

NAN reports that the Father’s Blessing and prophetic declaration over Nigeria will be pronounced by the General Overseer, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
