RCCG’s Pastor Toyin Laoye’s mother passes on in the US; Family releases home going program
The mother of Pastor (Dr.) Toyin Laoye, the Pastor-in-Charge, Region 15, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), The Americas 1, Late Elder Sophia Mojisola Faniyan, who passed on recently at the age of 91 in the United States of America (USA), will be interred on Friday, October 11, 2024.
According to a notice by the family, the Home Going Events in honor of Elder Faniyan will begin on Thursday, October 10, 2024 with a Celebration of Life programme at the Regional Headquarters, RCCG Dominion Cathedral, 180 Main Street, Orange, New Jersey, NJ 07050, starting at 6:00 PM (EST).
On Friday, October 11, 2024, there will be Viewing, from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM, a Home Going Service from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, both, also at RCCG Dominion Cathedral, and Interment immediately after Service at Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, 268 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ o7936.
There will, thereafter, be a Reception from 3:00PM at Ravello Elegant Weddings & Banquets, 138 Eagle Rock Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
Elder Faniyan, a much beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was the oldest member of RCCG Dominion Cathedral, Orange, New Jersey, before her demise and was a devoted Church worker, active in the Elders’ Fellowship, Evangelism and Welfare departments, among others.
Since her transition, there has been a flood of condolence messages pouring in for members of the family, especially, Pastor (Dr.) Laoye, a highly respected Cleric who oversees all RCCG churches in New Jersey and Vermont.
Leaders of the RCCG in North America and from across the world, other top Clerics from different missions within the US and beyond, as well as political, business and community leaders from far and near are among dignitaries expected to grace the Home Going programs of Elder Faniyan who lived an exemplary and fulfilled life.
