The Senator, whose palliative items are still being distributed across the local government areas in her senatorial zone, same Saturday, June 6, 2020, also reached out to internally displaced persons in the erosion ravaged Nkisi Aroli/Obeleagu axis of the Onitsha Inland Town Metropolis.
She has provided 30,000 bags of rice, 60,000 tubers of yam and 25,000 cartons of noodles that are being distributed among the less privileged members of constituency, including widows.
The items are being distributed through the Churches – Catholic, Anglican and Pentecostals to mitigate the hardship brought about by the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown imposed by the federal and state governments to curtail the spread of the dreaded COVID-19.
