Super Falcons know World Cup final preparation details

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been notified of details of their final preparations ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which gets underway in July.

The Nigerian ladies will report to camp on June 29 for final processes to mark their departure for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The 2023 edition of the tournament will take place in Australia/New Zealand. This is the biggest in history as it will feature 32 participating countries, an expansion to the 24-team format.

With less than a month to kick-off, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is clear with the Super Falcons time-table for final preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

This is according to Director of Media/Communications, NFF, Ademola Olajire, who said the Coach Randy Waldrum tutored side are being primed to be in their best possible condition for the World Cup.

The NFF Spokesman wrote “The FIFA Women’s World Cup will kick off next month and the Nigerian team will start their final preparation on June 29.

“There will be a final send-forth dinner for them on July 1 before they travel on July 2. They will also have a 15-day final camping programme in Australia before the tournament starts.”

Super Falcons World Cup squad for the World Cup was announced last-week with handlers of the multiple time African Champions inviting 23-players to prosecute the tournament.

The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place from July 20 to August 20, 2023.

Nigeria’s Super Falcons will face co-hosts Australia, Canada and Republic of Ireland in group A.
