TICT appoints Ojo as Head, Corporate Communications

The Tin Can Island Container Terminal (TICT), operator of Terminal B at Tin Can Island Port, has appointed Mr Philips Ojo as the Head of its Corporate Communications Strategies and Initiatives, Department.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Monday.

According to the statement, Ojo will oversee internal and external communications, brand management, CSR and sustainability efforts, stakeholder engagement, advertising and social media management.

Ojo is a communications professional with a background in journalism and corporate communications.

He began his career as a journalist with the Daily Sun Newspaper before joining the Corporate Communications Department of SIFAX Group in 2015, where he rose to the position of Deputy Manager.

Ojo holds a Master’s degree in Transport Planning and Logistics, a B.Sc. in Mass Communication (Journalism), and a B.A. in History and International Relations from Lagos State University.

He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and has attended several trainings at the School of Communications, Pan Atlantic University; Orange Academy; Wordslingers; Webloft Concepts; and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
