President Bola Tinubu has announced new appointments of Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
In different statements by Ajuri Ngelale, his Special Adviser (Media & Publicity), the President also approved the appointment of a new board for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) as well as new Heads of Agencies and Programmes under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development .
The President approved the appointment of the following as federal commissioners of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC):
(1) Mrs. Linda Nkechi Oti — Abia
(2) Mr. Akpan Imo Effiong — Akwa Ibom
(3) Mr. Enefe Ekene — Anambra
(4) Professor Steve Ugba — Benue
(5) Chief Eyonsa — Cross-River
(6) Aruviere Egharhevwe — Delta
(7) Nduka Henry Awuregu — Ebonyi
(8) Mr. Victor Eboigbe — Edo
(9) Honourable Wumi Ogunlola — Ekiti
(10) Honourable Ozo Obumreme Obodougo — Enugu
(11) Alhaji Kabir Ibrahim Mashi — Katsina
(12) Honourable Adamu Fanda — Kano
(13) Dr. Kunle Wright — Lagos
(14) Mr. Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir — Nasarawa
(15) Mr. Bako Shetima — Niger
(16) Mr. Samuel Durojaye — Ogun
(17) Mr. Nathaniel Adejutelegan — Ondo
(18) Honourable Saad Bello Ibrahim — Plateau
(19) Mr. Modu-Aji Juluri — Yobe
(20) Alhaji Bello Rabiu Garba — Zamfara
(21) Mr. Mohammed Kabeer Usman — Gombe
Their appointments are subject to confirmation by the Senate and according to the statement announcing the appointments, the President expects the new federal commissioners to demonstrate absolute fidelity to the nation in the discharge of their duties.
Appointed to serve on the new Board of TETFund are:
(1) Alhaji Aminu Masari — Chairman
(2) Senator Sani Danladi — Member
(3) Mr. Sunday Adepoju — Member
(4) Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi — Member
(5) Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu — Member
(6) Mr. Turaki Ibrahim — Member
(7) Mr. Aboh Eduyok — Member
Also appointed are:
(1) Dr. Badamasi Lawal — Chief Executive Officer, National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).
Dr. Lawal holds a doctorate degree in education, and he previously served as a commissioner in Katsina State.
(2) Ms. Funmilola Olotu — Programme Manager, National Social Safety-Net Coordinating Office
Ms. Olotu holds a master’s degree in business administration, and she is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on state lotteries.
(3) Ms. Aishat Alubankudi — Programme Manager, Grant for Vulnerable Groups
Ms. Alubankudi holds a bachelor’s degree in community development. She has experience as a risk assessor and financial manager.
(4) Princess Aderemi Adebowale — Programme Manager, Home Grown School Feeding
Princess Adebowale holds a doctorate degree. She is the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Civic Engagement and previously served as a local government chairperson.
(5) Mr. Abdullahi Alhassan Imam — Programme Manager, National Cash Transfer Office
Mr. Imam holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and has served as chief accountant, Northern Dairies Ltd, and as a bank manager.
(6) Mr. Ayuba Gufwan — Executive Secretary, National Commission for People with Disabilities
Mr. Gufwan holds an LLB and is the executive director of the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre, Jos.
(7) Ms. Lami Binta Adamu Bello — Director General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons
Ms. Binta holds a master’s degree in public administration and has served as the Secretary-General of ALGON, and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, as well as Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
