In a statement issued on Saturday, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy and Coordinating Director for Media and Strategic Communication of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, said President Tinubu had charged members of the council to work tirelessly to secure victory for the party in the January 2027 elections.

The President also urged leaders of the various directorates to engage other party members who were not included in the formal list, saying their contributions would be important to the campaign.

According to Tinubu, the administration has delivered on its campaign promises and placed the country on the path of economic progress.

“We have delivered on our campaign promises and set our country on a path of economic progress. We are definitely out of the dark tunnel and are now at the cusp of reaping the benefits of a prosperous economy that will benefit all Nigerians,” the President said.

He urged the campaign team to highlight the administration’s achievements during the campaign and present its record to Nigerians as the party seeks another electoral victory.

“As we march into the campaign season, we have many achievements to trumpet—let us confidently showcase our record and inspire hope in every corner of our nation. Let us soundly defeat all those forces who plan to take our country backwards,” Tinubu said.

The development formally sets in motion the APC’s organisational machinery for the 2027 presidential campaign, with the party deploying senior political figures, serving government officials, media strategists and election planners across its various directorates.
