It was midnight that the news rent the air
What transpired is hard to recall,
The mind ran riot with thoughts, grief and utter disbelief.
The rituals passed,
Temptations pressed
The phone went dead
But the conversations are on
With a mix of sighs and smiles,
Sighs with the news, smiles with your memories
As a teacher you transformed lives
As an administrator, you helped fulfill destinies,
In the communities are lingering memories of empathy and compassion, brightening everywhere, spreading hope and love with effervescent smiles.
To all and sundry, you healed, cared and shared;
De Hy, death can’t change those,
You now fly with the wind;
Penetrating the Heavenly clouds and shining with the Sun, beaming with the moon, and searchlights on us from among the Stars.
Though transformed, you’ll always be same, happy and tranquil,
Interceding for all with ease and without discrimination, but prayerfully, softly and gently; your trademarks in life and for eternity.
There’s no good bye but
Good morning forever with the Heavenly Hosts and Saints Triumphant in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏🙏🙏
