Valentine Ozigbo hails Igwe Onebunne for upholding Igbo tradition as Monarch celebrates Ofala/New Yam festivals
Valentine Ozigbo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag-bearer for the 2021 Anambra governorship election, was in Akwa-Ihedi on Thursday, August 26, 2021, to celebrate with His Royal Highness Igwe J.A.C Onebunne of Akwa-Ihedi as he marked this year’s Ofalla and New Yam Festival.
The event was held at the Igwe Onebunne’s palace in Akwa-Ihedi, in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, and was attended by a host of dignitaries, including His Royal Highness Igwe Francis Umennajiego of Unubi and many others.
In his brief address, Ozigbo congratulated Igwe Onebunne on his Ofala celebration and appreciated the monarch for upholding the rich Igbo tradition of the New Yam Festival.
Mr Obinna Ufudo, the Director of Finance for the Anambra PDP Governorship Campaign Council; Ichie Sunday Ezeobiora, a prominent agribusiness tycoon; Mr Robert Umeozulu, and several supporters accompanied Ozigbo to the event.
