We will win Local Government elections in Bauchi – APC Chieftain

Ahead of the October 17, 2020 local government elections in Bauchi state, Hon. Abubakar Danlami Garba , a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), has vowed that his party will prove its popularity to the world by coming out victorious.

Danlami, who was a of former chairman of Toro local government said this in Bauchi on Thursday, stressing that his party has produced popular and formidable candidates to confront those of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the elections.

He said “now that Bauchi state is at the verge of local governments’ polls, the All Progressives Congress (APC) being the major opposition party in the state has vowed to salvage the downtrodden electorates of the state from the captivity of the PDP-led Bauchi state government.

“PDP has since lost popularity and integrity in the eyes of the impoverished Bauchi populace due to poor leadership style and incessant unpopular policies”.

According to him, “the APC’s imminent return to power in Bauchi state is now evidently crystal clear even to a blind person.”

He also commended the minister of education, Malam Adamu Adamu for his efforts to unite the party members and address some of the problems of the party with a view to strengthening and preparing it for next elections.

Hon. Garba added,”he is now a unifying figure of the party being the leader in the state. The education minister has made several efforts to maintain decorum and unity in the party at both state and national levels”.

The Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BASIEC) has announced its decision to conduct local governments elections in the state on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
