Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has dissolved the Panel of Inquiry set up to review classification of Rivers Chieftaincy Stools with immediate effect.
A statement by the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu directed the panel to hand over all documents in its possession to the office of the Secretary to State Government.
In another development, Governor Wike has re-instated the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of Gokana and Ogu-Bolo Local Government Areas.
A statement also by Nwakaudu informed that the governor directed the re-instated caretaker chairmen to resume at their duty posts.
