A frontline Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) presidential aspirant, Patient Key, has urged Nigeria workers to be steadfast and deliberate in being part of the process to select leaders in the country.

Key said in a statement she personally signed on Sunday in Abuja to celebrate Nigerian workers, that workers should be deliberate in being part of the process of selecting leaders in the country.

The female aspirant said that when the right leaders, especially the executives, were elected to public offices, the challenges facing a nation would naturally be corrected.

She said this was because the system would function properly with checks and balances as it should.

Key, who commended Nigerian workers for their dedication to service, urged government to prioritise workers’ welfare alongside job security.

The former Chairman, Board of Directors, Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Americas (NIDOA), USA, said there would not be a country without workers.

“A country is like a machine that needs to be operated and such operators are the workers; so a country will function properly when workers are proactive and their welfare taken care of.”
