According to the draws made, Thursday in Rio, the1996 champions and 2008 runners-up will face Sweden, Colombia and Japan in the opening round of the competition.
The Rio Olympics will hold from August 5 to August 21.
The male football event, which Nigeria will be participating in as African champions, will hold from August 4 to August 20.
But the female football event, which the Super Falcons failed to qualify for, will hold from August 3 to August 19.
With the draw now, the Dream Team will open their campaign by taking on Japan at Manaus on August 4, before facing Sweden on August 7 at the same venue.
The Dream Team, 2-0 winners over Japan in a group phase match in 1996, will then take on Colombia in their final opening group game on Aug. 10 in Sao Paulo.
The top two teams in the group will advance to the quarter-finals.
The draw also has in Group A hosts Brazil, Iraq, Denmark and South Africa, while Group C has Fiji Islands, Korea Republic, Germany and defending champions Mexico.
Group D has Honduras, Argentina, Portugal and Algeria.
In the women’s tournament, hosts Brazil, China, Sweden and South Africa are in Group E.
Canada, Australia, Zimbabwe and Germany are in Group F, while Group G has the U.S., New Zealand, France and Colombia.
The Olympic Football Tournaments will have a total of 58 matches, with 32 for the men, and 26 for the women.
The action gets underway on August 3, with five other cities alongside Rio staging matches.
The cities are Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Manaus, Salvador and Sao Paulo.
Both final matches will be played at the Maracanã, with the women going for gold on the August 19 and the men doing likewise on August 20.
