Buhari renews tenure of Akabueze as DG, Budget Office of the Federation

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the renewal of the tenure of Mr. Benjamin Akabueze as Director-General of the Budget Office of the Federation.

According to Garba Shehu SSA to the President, Media & Publicity, the Budget Office is currently undergoing several reforms under the leadership of Akabueze, towards improving effectiveness and efficiency.

Akabueze served as the CEO of NAL Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc) and was two terms Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget with the Lagos State Government.
