Elder (Engr.) Simon Awofesobi honored with Doctor of Divinity award in USA

Elder Simon Awofesobi of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dominion Cathedral, Orange, New Jersey, United States of America (USA) has been honored with a Doctorate Degree in Divinity by the Power Ministries Incorporated Inc., USA.

Elder Awofesobi, a distinguished Engineer of several decades standing and a faithful steward in God’s vineyard, was conferred with the Award of Excellence at the Global Power Leadership Training Conference that held in New Jersey from Monday, May 12 to Friday, May 16, 2025.

The theme of the Conference was “Back to His Glory, to Possess Your Inheritance” and had in attendance delegates from different parts of the US and beyond.

Nigerian-born, US-based Elder Awofesobi, who is also an accomplished entrepreneur, was accompanied to the award ceremony by his wife, Eler (Mrs.) Elizabeth Awofesobi, other family members, relatives, friends and well wishers.
