It was celebrations galore as Bishop Mike Okonkwo marked his 73rd birthday in Lagos with his Annual Lecture and award of prizes to winners of the Essay Competition he instituted to advance the course of education in the country.
Dignitaries from far and near graced the event which held at the Music Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Centre.
Chief John Nnia Nwodo, the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo chaired the occasion while erudite lawyer, Barrister Femi Falana (SAN) was the Key Speaker. He spoke on the theme, “Nigeria’s Unity: Matters Arising.”
