Buhari greets former Gov. Nwodo at 70

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with former Governor of old Enugu State, Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, on his 70th birthday, wishing him good health and strength as he continued to serve the nation.

The president’s congratulatory message was conveyed via a statement in Abuja by Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.

Buhari joined family, friends and all political associates of the former governor, who was a onetime National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, in celebrating the milestone, heralded by many years of medical service, within and outside the nation, before participating actively in politics.

He prayed that the almighty God would continue to bless him, and his family.
