Mbaise Association of New Jersey holds New Yam Festival Saturday, August 19
The Mbaise Association of New Jersey Inc, will roll out the red carpet on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in celebration of its annual Iriji Mbaise Festival (New Yam Festival).
A notice inviting family, friends, associates and all lovers of culture to the event, by Multiple Chief Kelechi Onyegbule, the President of the Association, said that the colorful program will hold at the St. Valentine Catholic Church Hall, 155 East Passaic Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ, 07003 from 7:00pm.
Dignitaries from far and near are expected to grace the Festival, which, according to him, will showcase the rich culture of the Mbaise Nation of Imo State, Nigeria.
He assured that there will be lots of foods and drinks, singing and dancing, display of fascinating cultural attires and lots more. He added that everything, including parking, will be free of charge.
