The immediate past Secretary to the Government of Imo State (SGI), Sir Jude Ejiogu has described the demise of the paramount ruler of Owerri, HRH Eze (Pharm.) Emmanuel Emenyeonu Njemanze, (Ozuruigbo the ‘V’ of Owerri) as a transition to higher glory, saying that he was consoled that the departed first class Monarch overcame the pains, tribulations and struggles of life.

Sir Ejiogu made this known in a tribute to the family, availed to newsmen in Owerri. He described Eze Njemanze as a distinguished Public Servant, very brilliant, saying that he used his profession as a Pharmacist to advance the course of humanity, and expressed joy that he left indelible footprints in various sectors he identified with especially, at the General Hospital, Owerri now Federal Medical Center, Owerri where he rose to the position of Chief Pharmacist before his retirement.

According to the Emeritus Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Eze Njemanze dedicated himself to not only his Community and children but to Imo State in particular and Nigeria at large, adding that he lived a life fully devoted to the Traditional Institution which he said, assisted in the promotion of Igbo culture.
